are pretty much the best invention EVER.
seriously. i forgot my headphones at work, and picked up a pair of philips SHN2500 earbuds at target. they’re cheap (~20) and work great. i’m doing some work in my hotel room. unfortunately they are drilling next door. beautiful. great for the plane, too.
i can’t believe gadget-freak me never owned a pair. highly recommended.
of course, they also assist in making sure that your volume is relatively low so you don’t damage your hearing. don’t use your ipod stock headphones unless you want to kill your ears.
and don’t leave the noise canceling on if you’re walking in traffic or whatever.
