I can already hear the librarians cheering and the students/researchers waiting in lines for copiers shuffling by much more quickly. If I were still a student, I’d pay a premium for copies made at one second per scan deposited directly onto a thumbdrive.
Although this wonder is not made for automated digitizing, I can also hear the lawyers sighing. But what a great way to get information out of dusty old books and into use!
